• কোন sentence এ একই ধরনের Noun এর মধ্যে তুলনা করার সময় পূর্বের Noun এর পুনরাবৃত্তি পরিহার করতে singular noun এর পরিবর্তে that of এবং plural noun এর পরিবর্তে those of ব্যবহৃত হয়।

- অন্যভাবে বলা যায়,
কোনো comparative sentence এর প্রথম অংশ যদি
The + Noun + of + Noun হয়, তবে verb এর পরের অংশ হবে - than + that/those of
noun যদি singular হয় তবে that আর noun যদি plural হয় তবে those বাকি noun টি।
