• Participle:
- A participle is a verb that ends in -ing (present participle) or -ed, -d, -t, -en, -n (past participle).
- Participle may function as Adjectives, describing or modifying Nouns.
- Participle একই সাথে Verb ও Adjective এর কাজ করে।

• Participle মূলত তিন প্রকার:
1. Present Participle. Ex: The story is thrilling.
2. Past Participle. Ex: This is a book written by Charles Dickens.
3. Perfect Participle. Ex: Having gained the truth, keep the truth

• প্রদত্ত Sentence টিতে, Crying baby দ্বারা কাঁদছে এমন শিশু বা কাঁদছে শিশু কে বুঝানো হয়েছে। সুতরাং এটি verb এর কাজ করেছে।
- আবার, শিশুটি কেমন অবস্থায় আছে (কাঁদছে অবস্থায়) তা বুঝাচ্ছে বলে Crying হলো এখানে Adjective.
- সুতরাং Crying শব্দটি একই সাথে verb ও Adjective এর কাজ করল।
- তাই Crying শব্দটি এখানে Participle বা Present participle হিসেবে ব্যবহার হয়েছে।
