• Let যুক্ত direct speech কে indirect speech এ রূপান্তরের নিয়ম:
- Direct Speech এ let এর পর যদি us ভিন্ন অন্য কোনো noun/ pronoun/ noun phrase থাকে সেক্ষেত্রে
- Indirect Speech এ say এর পরিবর্তে say/ wish বসবে।
- say to এর পরিবর্তে tell/ request বসবে।
- Reported speech এর verb এর আগে may/ might/ might be allowed to ব্যবহৃত হবে।
- Direct: He said, 'Let the old man have some food.
- Indirect: He wished that the old man might have some food.
- উপরোক্ত বাক্যে Let এর পর us না থাকায়
- Indirect speech এ wish বসেছে।
- linker হিসেবে that বসেছে।
- পরবর্তীতে Indirect Speech এ verb এর আগে might বসেছে।
