• Negative sentence কে Affirmative করার সময় উক্ত sentence এর Negative শব্দটির Affirmative রূপ বসাতে হয়।
- বাকী সব অপরিবর্তনীয় থাকে।
- Negative: That was not an ordinary ship.
- Affirmative: That was an extra-ordinary ship.

• এ জাতীয় আরোও কিছু উদাহরণ হচ্ছে -
- Negative: He is not a bad man.
- Affirmative: He is a good man.
- Negative: Rakib is not a dishonest boy.
- Affirmative: Rakib is an honest boy.
